SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER CLASSES

Beginner Cake Decorating: Course 1 starts October 3rd 6:30-8:30 I am teaching this class at Michaels. Its a 4 week class, learn the basics of cake decorating. The cost is under $25 for the entire 4 weeks!!!

PARTY CAKES N THINGS CLASSES - Located in Kempsville.

October 16th: Bloody Eyeball: 1:00-3:00 Cost: $20 plus supplies. You will need to go onto Party cakes web site or you can go into the store to pay: http://www.partycakesnthings.com/

October 16th and 23rd: Gumpaste Lily Class - 3:30-6:30 2 weeks ($30 for both weeks) learn how to make these LOVELY flowers, I will show you how to make them, color them and/or airbrush them!!!! You will need to pay either online or thru party cakes n things. http://www.partycakesnthings.com/ We may also do some fantasy flowers as well (photo below)

This cake was donated to the wife of one of our fallen Navy Seals. He left behind 2 little boys and a lovely wonderful wife that is expecting their 3rd child. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers...........

This cake was made for my nephew that just turned 7, HOW FUN!!!!

This cake went to a local Bridal Boutique for them to taste just in case they wanted to pass my name out there- Pure English

JULY/AUGUST CAKE BLOG

Hi Cake Pals! It's been a LONG time since I have updated my blog.....SOOO much going on with me! Sadly I will not be teaching many classes at Michaels any longer, with my new business up and running and teaching my specialty classes at Party Cakes n Things I don't have much time to teach at Michaels. I do have an August calendar for Michaels though.

Beginning Basics - starts August 4th 1:00-3:00. Its a 4 week class, you will need to sign up at Michaels Customer Service in order to get a spot. Please email me once you have signed up.

Baby Crib: July 17th 10:00-1:00 - 2 week class. $60 plus supplies. Here is what we are doing!!!

Smooth Buttercream Class: July 24th - please see site for times.

Learn how I get my cakes iced soooo smooth in buttercream!

TOPSY TURVY!!!! August 14th and 21st (2 week class) Check the times on the site (I think.....its 2:00-5:00) $70 plus supplies. We will not be doing this design......it will be a bit easier, I promise!

JUNE CAKE CLASSES

I have some VERY exciting news! My new business AD is going to be in the Money Clip Magazine on JUNE 10th! YES! Mark your calendars to look for it, its a full page ad and its super cute! And I'm super excited! I scanned in the proof, its not very clear but you get the picture!! :0)

Classes for June (At Michaels):

June 5th:
My famous BUTTERCREAM CLASS!!! Yep, this is all buttercream iced and I will show you how! No supplies. Cost is $15 and you walk out with the recipe, a step by step picture tutorial and your jaw on the floor!! :-)

June 5th: 1:30-4:30 - SHOE BOX AND HIGH HEEL SHOE CLASS!! EVERYTHING IS EDIBLE!! To give you an idea of the size, the shoe is a ladies size 6 /12. Cost of this class is $20 plus supplies. Its a 2 week class.

June 7th~ 6:30-8:30: Coconut Drink Class! HOW FUN IS THIS!!! The cost for this class is $15 plus supplies.

Thursday's starting June 23rd: Gumpaste/Fondant Course 3. Learn all the basics to working with fondant and gumpaste. You will make gumpaste flowers and learn how to cover a cake in fondant. This is a very popular class you may want to sign up soon to get a spot, I can only take 8 people!!

THESE ARE CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES!!!!!! I shipped them to my mom for mothers day as a trial to see how well they ship - OH YEAH, THEY SHIPPED FINE!!!! :-)
